The EU could “respond swiftly and decisively” against what it deems “unjustified” travel bans imposed by the United States on five Europeans involved in combating digital hatred and misinformation, a European Commission spokesperson has said.
EU Officials Decry US Move as ‘Intimidation’
Officials from Europe such as Emmanuel Macron charged the US administration of “bullying and threats”, after the travel bans were placed on figures that were at the heart of campaigns to introduce legislation governing US-based technology firms.
